Presentation Submissions for the 2026 Winter Meeting
AAPT invites you to join a vibrant community of educators at the 2026 AAPT Winter Meeting. This year’s streamlined schedule begins with parallel and plenary sessions on Saturday, January 17, and concludes on Monday, January 19—maximizing your time with impactful sessions, meaningful networking, and a dynamic program.

- Submit your presentation today.
- While the deadline for contributing talks has passed, we are still accepting abstracts for poster presentations. The poster submission deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025.
Directions for Submitting an Abstract for a Presentation:
- Sign In: Sign in with your AAPT member ID or create an account if you are not a member.
- Select a Presentation Type: Select your abstract type:
- Traditional Poster: A session occurring in a 1-hour block in the common/exhibit hall area, accessible by all meeting attendees. You may give multiple poster presentations although note that there will only be two poster sessions and AAPT can not guarantee multiple poster presentations from one individual will be in the same place.
- Contributed Talk: A 10 min talk + 2 minutes for questions. You may be the speaker for no more than one contributed oral presentation.
- Invited Talk: A 20 min talk + 4 minutes for questions (only if you have received an invitation) . Please do not select this unless you have received an invitation from a session organizer who has also given you the name of a session to which you should submit your abstract. You may be the speaker for no more than one invited talk (Plenary speakers may give a Plenary and one invited talk).
- Invited Panel: Talk length to be determined by the Session Organizer. Please do not select this unless you have received an invitation from a session organizer. Please do not select this unless you have received an invitation from a session organizer who has also given you the name of a session to which you should submit your abstract.
- Select a Session (Sorting Category): Select a session category from the list that corresponds to the type of presentation you selected.
- Presentation Information: Add your abstract title and enter the body of your abstract (2000 characters or less). You will be able to include Footnotes, Comments, and/or Conflicts, and select any relevant Hashtags.
- Co-authors: You will add author information on the second page. Add your co-authors to your presentation utilizing the search function. If you are unable to find a co-author already existing in the system when searching, you will have the option to add their information.
- Review and Respond to the AAPT Permission Agreement: You can review all of your entered information before proceeding to review and select your options for the AAPT Permission Agreement. Response to this agreement is required for your submission to be completed.
- Submit Your Abstract: After completing all previous steps, you will confirm to submit your abstract to the program. After you have submitted your abstract, you will be able to access your abstract to make edits until the abstract deadline of Friday, September 26, 2025.
